Tournament Rules and Information

1. NSA rules will apply. Copies of birth certificates must be available for inspection. Team managers or representatives are to check in with their official roster at least thirty minutes prior to the start of their first game.

2. All games will be seven innings or one hour, 15 minute time limit. There is a 99 minute time limit for all championship games. A eight run rule after five innings, 10 run rule after four innings, and a twelve run rule after three innings will apply in all games, even the championship game.

3. Teams must be ready to play 10 minutes prior to game time.

4. On field warm ups will not be allowed. Absolutely no hitting into the fences. Umpires will allow pitchers and catchers adequate warm up time. Pitchers will be allowed five pitches between innings. Relief pitchers will be allowed 5 pitches. All teams will be expected to make a quick transition between innings and to vacate the field quickly upon the completion of their game. Likewise, all teams should be ready to immediately occupy the dugout and be prepared to start play.

5. Home Team is official score keeper. Line ups must be turned in to score keeper five minutes prior to game time.

6. Home team will be decided by coin toss prior to each game.

7. Protest fee is $75 and is refundable only if the protest is upheld by the three member Protest Committee.

8. Tournament directors reserve the right to re-schedule games or delay start times of games if conditions warrant.

9. Admission will be: Adults $6.00 / per day - under 12 free. one day tournaments are Adults $7.00 / per day - under 12 free

10. All players and three coaches per team will be admitted free of charge.

11. Pool play games that are tied after time has expired will end tied. 0 points awarded.

12. Seeding for tournament play will be decided as follows: maximum of 7 points
a. win / loss record
b. head to head competition
c. points system (maximum per game of seven)
d. runs given up, then runs score, then coin toss

13. First & second place team Award will be awarded for each age division.

14. Only NSA stamp balls will be allowed.

15. All bats must be NSA approved

16. Teams MUST have insurance coverage.
